Questions worth asking
What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a SIM card built into your phone that you activate with a QR code instead of a plastic card. You keep your home number on your normal SIM and add our data plan alongside it, so you stay reachable while paying local data prices.
Will it work on my phone?
Your phone needs to support eSIM and must not be carrier locked. Most iPhones from the XS onward, recent Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy S and many other models qualify. Some models sold in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau have eSIM disabled. Check before you buy, because a locked or incompatible phone is not grounds for a refund once the eSIM is issued.
Do I keep my phone number?
Yes. Our plans are data only and sit alongside your existing SIM, so your usual number keeps working for calls and texts. Leave data roaming off on your home line and you will not be billed for roaming.
When does my plan start?
Validity begins when the eSIM first connects to a network in a covered destination, not when you buy it. That is why installing early is safe and recommended: you can set it up at home and it will not start counting down until you arrive.
What happens when I run out of data?
We warn you at 80 percent and again at 100 percent. On a fixed plan the connection stops and you can buy a top up or a new plan. On an unlimited plan you keep going at a reduced speed until the next day, as our Fair Use Policy explains.
Can I get a refund?
If we take payment and fail to deliver a working eSIM, you are refunded in full automatically. Once the activation code is issued the sale is final, because a provisioned profile cannot be recalled. Our Refund Policy sets this out in full.
